Gym Workout, Short Business Discussion, Martial Arts

Went to the gym this afternoon and worked out my chest, back, and glutes. The bench press after 2 sets I have to skip becaus it’s triggering my shoulder injury again.

My martial arts master came and we discussed about the telecoms service business. For now we staying on the gas retail service as priority plan.

Martial arts practice ensued after. A review of counter-strikes on the different gates both for upper and lower limbs, we also analyzed new posture from the ancient northern Chinese style. One of the posture that I don’t understand was actually demonstrated by my master and it made perfect sense. That means that specific posture in the form sequence is misleading. The body has to actually shift almost 180 degrees fron the front to facing an incoming attack at the rear and executing a counter both on the upper limbs and the lower limbs.

Another posture that we analyzed is revealed that the actual strike is not supposed to be a hamer fist because the body’s natual dynamics requires that the punch is a cross.

Then more drills on fast knife counter’s and some disarm if the situation warrants it.
