Went to gym after my lunch out. Too bad I didn’t get any beef so I settled instead for chicken.
Did the bench press on both flat and inclined, and was followed by chest flyes. Also did the lat pull downs.
After the weight training I went outon the other side of the gym area where my master and I used to practice martial arts and started practicing the shadow drills on the pure Zero. A few of the documented counter moves I don’t remember anymore so I need the master to show it again to me sometime.
Practiced also the stick, short sword, and knife.
Reflecting while continously doing the drills I remember the different knife disarms and also the nuances and risk. From there on I realized that my knife attacks and counter should always be unpredictable. It should follow a broken pattern with feints so that no amount of disarm will be effective against me with the knife.
After the gym and the shadow drills I went straight to the market and enjoyed some snacks like bananaques and melon juice. Went also to the beach to drop off some coin change at a store and headed to capitol beach to enjoy raw mango with shrimp paste, sweet corn, and avocado fruit shake.
My feet hurts from the number of steps I had to do during the footwork on all the drills practiced both on empty hands and with weapons.
